Colors of Fall 2008
This is a season where color alone is not enough. Color must be in the right material and texture. A rich dark look based on black, grey and taupe are matched with surfaces of patent leather, metallic sheen, soft suede and vintage brush offs. Metal shades have evolved to copper, brass, antique gold and rose gold all with an oxidized patina finish.
Red, purple, wine and fuchsia will be core fashion shades in shiny materials such as satin, techno fabric, and colored metallic leather. Greens and blues make an eco-centric statement in vegetable tanned leathers and exotic croco and snake. A newer, warmer trend will emerge focused on dark browns, pomegranate, blood orange and harvest shades.
